Once you finish this installation method, you should get exactly the same copy of this Demo site on your server. Let\u2019s start!<\/p>\n

  1. Unzip file \u201cwp_hot_news_portal_hotstart.zip\u201d from the archive you downloaded after purchase. Unzip this archive to your computer.<\/li>\n
  2. Using FTP software (such as FileZilla<\/a>) upload all files and folders to your hosting space. Make sure that folder where you uploaded files is writable (chmod 755).<\/li>\n
  3. In browser, open address http:\/\/www.your_site_address.com\/wordpress\/index.php (change \u201cyour_site_address.com\u201d with your URL, change \u201cwordpress\u201d with folder name where you uploaded files).<\/li>\n
  4. Click \u201cCreate a Configuration File\u201d button.<\/li>\n
  5. Make sure that you have created an empty MySQL database on your server. Use your hosting control panel to do that (or ask hosting support for assistance). Click \u201cLet\u2019s Go\u201d button.<\/li>\n
  6. Enter empty Database Name, Database\u2019s User Name, Database User\u2019s Password, Database Host. Click Submit button.<\/li>\n
  7. If all database parameters were OK, you will see \u201cRun the Install\u201d button, so click it now.<\/li>\n
  8. On the next page, you will see some parameters that you can\u2019t edit now, but you can edit them later in WordPress. Please click Install WordPress button.<\/li>\n
  9. Click Log In button to login to WordPress admin\u2019s dashboard. Your temporary administrator\u2019s username and password will be \u201cadmin\u201d and \u201cadmin\u201d.<\/li>\n
